Overview

The post-bachelor's DNP programs are structured as tiered curricula. The tiered approach provides quality educational experiences while ensuring adherence to certification requirements for the different population-specific programs. First-tier coursework is mandatory for all students. Second-tier coursework consists of support/cognate and clinical courses which vary by nurse practitioner population focus.

Given the changing nature of certification requirements, the program plans are subject to modification by the Conway School of Nursing within each academic year.

Note: Students receive the MSN degree following completion of core courses and the comprehensive exam in order to sit for their nurse practitioner certification exam before completion of the DNP project.
