Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

Time & Location

For the Conway School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony, families and guests are invited to join us in the Great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The ceremony will begin immediately following the main ceremony.

Seating

Parents and families do not need tickets, as seating will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please be courteous to our older guests and families with small children. 

Procession

Following the main ceremony, graduates should gather immediately on the front steps of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in their assigned order. 

Diploma Ceremony

After the faculty and graduates process into the ceremony, we will continue with the opening prayer, student speech, and the conferral of degrees.

Reception

Parents and families, please join us on the terrace of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for light refreshments immediately following the School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony.
