## Undergraduate Admission<a class="ck-anchor" id="undergraduate"></a>

Undergraduate admissions to the Conway School of Nursing are coordinated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In addition to the university requirements, high school courses in biology and chemistry are required.

Undergraduate applications are accepted August 1- February 1.

 

 

   BSN Admission Criteria  Admission criteria for the traditional, 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program includes:

1. **Required Application Materials:** Completed Common Application, official high school transcript, essay, and recommendation letter.
2. **Required Academic Preparation for BSN Consideration:** Evidence of a college-preparatory high school curriculum, including appropriate preparation in laboratory science and mathematics.
3. **Holistic Admission Review:** Review of cumulative academic performance, rigor of coursework, grade trends, preparation in science and mathematics, writing, recommendations, life and work experiences demonstrating leadership capacity, personal characteristics reflecting respect for the dignity of the human person, and overall readiness for success in a professional nursing program.
4. **Competitive Profile:** Competitive BSN applicants typically present a strong cumulative GPA (3.53 on average) and successful completion of rigorous high school science and mathematics coursework. Other applicants may still be considered when the broader record provides compelling evidence of readiness.
