  • Dr. Moore is Associate Dean for Innovation and Online Learning, Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program at the Catholic University of America School of Nursing. Dr. Moore has a background in both nursing and computer science.  She received her BS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and worked for several years as a computer programmer analyst.  Dr. Moore then earned her BSN and MSN degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and her DNP degree at Case Western Reserve University.

    Dr. Moore is a nationally certified FNP.  She has clinically practiced in a variety of primary care settings in Minnesota and Virginia, and she continues to practice as a FNP weekly.  She has taught a variety of courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels including Health Assessment, Primary Care of Adults, Nurse Practitioner Practicums/Preceptorships, Nursing Research, and Health Information Technology.  Dr. Moore is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF).  Her research interests include distance learning, nursing preceptorships, care coordination, convenient care clinics, and health information technology.
