Explore the World of Nursing and Experience Hands-on Learning

The Conway School of Nursing Camp is a one-week program designed to aid students in understanding the essence of nursing practice and explore nursing as a career and profession. The camp is facilitated by nursing faculty and an upper-class nursing student. This educational experience will incorporate “learning by doing,” and students will practice selected technical skills in the school’s lab and simulation center.

The week will encompass professional and moral values and human dignity as a framework for understanding the work of nursing to promote human flourishing during illness. Strategies addressing collegiate academic success is intertwined in the program. In addition, the students will be exposed to simulation and hands-on experiences and earn certification in CPR from the American Heart Association.

Please note that for summer 2025, this camp is a non-residential camp. Housing is not available for students at this time.
