The Conway School of Nursing is designed to provide students the most real-world nursing experience possible right on campus.
Your State-of-the-Art Education Begins Here
Our building boasts over 16,000 square feet of simulation and lab space that mimics real hospital floors and offers state-of-the-art equipment for our students. These spaces help our students learn not only about the human body, the tools, and environment in which they'll work, but also how to compassionately care for the human person.
Simulation ER Rooms
2 simulated Emergency Departments with 17 open practice bays and 3 enclosed bays for isolated patient simulations.
Hospital & Primary Care Exam Rooms
8 high-fidelity hospital rooms for acute care, including 1 for operations, and 6 primary care exam rooms.
Post-Simulation Debriefing Rooms
7 debriefing rooms for reviewing student performance with instructors after simulations.
Developing the Knowledge & Skills for Patient Care
Our facilities and professors help you hone the knowledge and skills to care for patients by simulating clinical scenarios in a lifelike setting. We closely match the spaces of hospitals and acute care facilities to prepare you for the path ahead.
Conducting Patient Exams, Bedside Care, and More
Learn the instruments, steps, and techniques you'll need for conducting: a comprehensive head-to-toe physical exam; wound care; ostomy care; patient mobility and fall prevention; nasogastric tube placement and oxygenation; intermuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections; and other procedures.
Labs: From Studying Fundamentals to Virtual Reality
Our spacious labs provide an environment for classes, research, and learning about microbiology, the human body, and health assessment techniques — complete with virtual reality technology for practicing clinical scenarios in virtual reality.
I want being a nurse to be more than my job. I want to give back what I have received. And I believe that I can do that as part of the Conway community.
