ATLANTA, GA — October 8–10, 2025 — The Conway School of Nursing at The Catholic University of America proudly participated in the 2025 ANCC National Magnet and Pathway to Excellence Conference, held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This premier event, hosted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is recognized as the largest professional nursing conference in the world, celebrating excellence, innovation, and transformational leadership in nursing practice.
Representing the Conway School of Nursing, Dr. Martha Scheckel, Vice Dean, led recruitment efforts for the School’s graduate programs, accompanied by graduate student Elizabeth Mastoros. Together, they engaged with nursing professionals from across the country, sharing insights into Conway’s commitment to academic excellence, compassionate care, and leadership development in nursing education.
Alumni, nurses from clinical partner organizations, and current graduate students were also in attendance at the conference and stopped by the Conway School of Nursing exhibit. Many practicing nurses expressed strong interest in pursuing a Conway graduate degree, reflecting the School’s reputation for advancing nursing leadership and professional development.
