For students who aspire to utilize their skills as healers, our nursing program prepares future nurses to make a positive impact on people's lives by caring for the mind, body, and spirit. In the Conway School of Nursing at The Catholic University of America, future nurses will learn to provide care that is respectful of the dignity of the human person and promotes human flourishing in health and illness. Nursing students will complete courses and clinical experiences to ensure they become competent, practice-ready professional nurses.
The Conway School of Nursing offers one baccalaureate program, comprising two pathways: a traditional 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a 12-month (second-degree) accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Through a combination of coursework and clinical experiences, faculty guide students in integrating theory with practice to deliver holistic, person-centered nursing care. Students consistently achieve an average first-time pass rate of 95% on the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses).

Our nursing students have opportunities they may not have at any other school — whether that means earning a minor, a Certificate in Spanish for Healthcare, or studying abroad.
