  • Dr. Selzer is the program coordinator for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and a clinical assistant professor at the Catholic University of America School of Nursing.  Dr. Selzer received her BSN from Rush University in Chicago and began her nursing career in the emergency department.  Dr. Selzer completed her MSN and acute care nurse practitioner training at Loyola University in Chicago, and later her DNP from Missouri State University.  

    Dr. Selzer is a nationally certified Adult ACNP.  She has a variety of experience in emergency medicine, emergency preparedness, flight nursing and critical care medicine. She currently resides in north Texas and continues to practice in trauma and critical care at the county hospital and Level I Trauma Center in Fort Worth.  Dr. Selzer previously developed the AG-ACNP program for Texas Christian University and recently joined CUA to build this specialty tract for the Conway School of Nursing Graduate Program.  Dr. Selzer is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF).  Her research interests include geriatric trauma and critical care.
