Dr. Wenzel believes as St. John Paul II stated, “a Catholic University should (include) a serious study of contemporary problems in areas such as the dignity of human life, the promotion of justice for all, (and) the quality of personal and family life...,” It is clear that the Conway School of Nursing at Catholic University is dedicated to embodying these ideals to ensure the spiritual growth of our students while advancing academic excellence.

Dr. Wenzel is the faculty leader of a planned speaker series on the Theology of the Body at the Conway School of Nursing.
