Recognizing that the national nursing shortage was impacting their favorite hospital’s ability to recruit the best nurses, Mr. George and Mrs. Carroll Dunn and family turned to their favorite nursing school, the Conway School of Nursing at Catholic University. Thanks to a generous donation from the Dunn Family to five nursing students at the Conway School of Nursing, these nurses are committed to practicing at Sibley after they complete their BSN. During their sophomore, junior and senior years, Dunn Scholars will enjoy participate in nursing activities at Sibley such as nurses’ week and special lectures. By the time they graduate, they will already have made professional connections that will accelerate their career development. Dr. Mary Dixon leads this program.
