Madeline Perrino, Catholic '23, is a Nursing major from Norwich, CT. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Conway School of Nursing, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University?
"I chose Catholic because it is located in a major city but still feels like a traditional college campus. The Nursing program also has a great reputation and has the support of wonderful benefactors, like Mr. Bill Conway."
Why do you want to be a nurse?
"I wanted to be a nurse because I wanted to serve others. As I finish nursing school and am set to begin my career, I see what a special role nurses have in caring for people from all walks of life."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"I am a member of the women's ultimate frisbee team here on campus and I have been able to meet so many great people and have lots of fun experiences."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Choosing a college can be a very stressful experience. Prioritize your happiness and follow opportunities that make you excited for the future."
