Dr. Mary Anne Vincent, PhD, RN, CNE, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Conway School of Nursing, The Catholic University of America. She earned her PhD from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing, where she also completed a two-year NRSA research traineeship with the Center for Clinical and Translational Science, focusing her dissertation on biomarker circadian profiles in critically ill, mechanically ventilated patients. Her current research explores online instructional strategies, Team-Based Learning, and metacognition, with particular emphasis on supporting at-risk students and mentoring faculty. A Certified Nurse Educator with a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education, Dr. Vincent brings more than 20 years of teaching experience across diverse academic settings. She has been recognized with numerous honors, including the District 9 Texas Nursing Association Outstanding Nurse Award, The Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing Educators, and five consecutive nominations for the St. Thomas Aquinas Excellence in Teaching Award. In addition to her academic contributions, Dr. Vincent has extensive clinical experience in Critical Care, Emergency, and Post-Anesthesia Care Nursing.
