Ellen S. Christ died on Tuesday, July 17th.  A graduate of the CUASON Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program, Ellen served as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the U.S. Navy for five years.  She served in the reserves and ended her career with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, MD.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 100 Peachblossom Rd., Easton. Burial will be private.

A Memorial Service will be held on Smith Island on Saturday, August 11 at 4 p.m. The boat “Chelsea Lane” will leave Somers Cove Marina at 2:45 p.m. prompt and will return after the service.
