The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner: Dual Acute and Primary Care prepares graduates to manage acute and complex illness and injuries in children as well as chronic illness, minor injuries and health promotion. Practice settings include critical, intermediate and general hospital care units as well as school, community, and primary care settings. The program is grounded in respect for the profound dignity of every person and a whole person approach to care that includes the mind, body and spirit of the individual and family.
