The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner: Primary Care Program prepares nurses to diagnose and manage acute and chronic illness in children from birth to age 21. Graduates promote wellness, treat common diseases and injuries and conduct annual physical examinations.  Practice settings include primary care sites, schools, community health centers and private practices. The program is grounded in respect for the profound dignity of every person and a whole person approach to care that includes the mind, body and spirit of the individual and family.
