  • Lauren E. Arrigoni, DNP, CPNP-PC, RN serves as Assistant Dean of MSN Specialty and DNP Nursing Programs and Director of the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the Conway School of Nursing at The Catholic University of America. Her clinical and research interests focus on pediatric complex care, pediatric cardiology, and vaccine initiatives, with an emphasis on improving outcomes for medically vulnerable children and strengthening interdisciplinary models of care.

    Prior to joining the Conway School of Nursing, Dr. Arrigoni served as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for the Pediatric COVID Outcome Study at Children’s National Hospital in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her clinical background includes roles as a Pediatric Heart Transplant Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse, where she managed patients requiring ECMO and other advanced life-support modalities.

    Dr. Arrigoni received the 2019 Rising Star Alumni Award from the NYU School of Nursing, and her doctoral scholarship was recognized with the 2023 Excellence in Clinical Writing Award from the Journal of Pediatric Health Care. She has appeared as a guest expert on SiriusXM Doctor Radio and currently serves as President-Elect of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), DC Chapter. She has also collaborated with MakerNurse, an organization that promotes nursing innovation, and has presented at the World Maker Faire.

    Dr. Arrigoni’s work is guided by a strong commitment to clinical excellence, leadership, and the preparation of advanced practice nurses dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families.
